A Brief Timeline
1954
– Ron Laytner started his career in Canada at the Toronto Telegram and the Toronto Star.
1958
– Ron won the Canadian National Newspaper Award for Photography.
– aprox. – Ron started traveling around the world and freelancing for LIFE Magazine and Paris Match.
1964
– The ‘Brownie’ photograph was used by KODAK in the 1964 World’s Fair.
1969
– Ron started EDIT INTERNATIONAL, where he continued freelancing around the world and started syndicating not only himself but other writers in publications around the world.
1998
– Lance Laytner, Ron’s son joined the business and has since become a successful freelance writer himself.
2007
– Ron published his book on Howard Hughes.
